Koreatown Vancouver is located in Downtown Vancouver’s West End along Robson Street between Nicola and Denman Street.  It is called “Koreatown” because of the concentration of Korean-owned restaurants on the south side of Robson Street between Nicola and Bidwell Street.

Though there is not an obvious domination of Korean-owned businesses in the area, we believe that with more exposure to wider audiences through media such as this website, it can eventually become a hub for Korean culture in Vancouver, much like Chinatown is for Chinese culture there and one that rivals the Koreatown along North Road by Lougheed Highway in Coquitlam.

This website serves as a local resident or tourist’s guide to Koreatown Vancouver, its businesses, location, and history.  Please browse through the site and visit Koreatown Vancouver, you will be glad that you did.
